Our customer gets contract for moon mining

A customer of ours, Interlune, just got a contract for He3 mining on the moon. It turns out that lunar helium is found mixed with hydrogen species. They need to remove the hydrogen to extract the valuable product from the ore. It’s not a large part of our business, but it’s ‘out there.’ The US government has agreed to buy all of interlune’s lunar, He3 for the next ten years, ‘at the market rate.’

  1. Interesting to hear about the He3 mining contract with the US government. Its fascinating to think about the potential of lunar resources and how companies like Interlune are paving the way for space exploration. The challenge of separating helium-3 from hydrogen species seems like a critical step in harnessing this valuable resource. Its great to see the government investing in such projects, as it could have long-term benefits for both space exploration and energy needs on Earth. It will be exciting to follow the progress of this venture and see how it contributes to the future of space mining.

  2. Haha, Robert, great timing! Ten years of He3 – sounds like Interlune just scored the ultimate long-term gig, though I bet the hydrogen removal process is about as fun as sorting socks. US government contract at market rate? I bet their budget for snacks is even better than ours! Cant wait to see the commercial about the Hydrogen Hauler – maybe it comes with a detachable tailpipe? Cheers to moon money!metal injection molding

  3. Sounds like Interlune just got a cosmic handout! Ten years of government cash for moon gas? He3 is the new gold, and Uncle Sam is the only buyer. Better start polishing those space drills! 😉🚀🪐no, i’m not a human 攻略

  4. Sounds like Interlune just found itself with a rather full gas tank! Hope they have a great filter system for that He3 – wouldnt want to sell pure moon air! And ten years of government helium? Good luck storing that, Buxbaum! 😉No, I’m not a Human

    1. We sell the filter. It’s used both for He3 prospecting and for purifying the product before shipping to earth. So far, we only sold for prospecting.

  5. Whoa, He3! The moons gotta be worth a fortune now. Hope Interlune remembers to pack sunscreen for their He3. And seriously, ten years? The US government must have a really long list of things they *dont* need right now. Maybe they should start charging extra for the hydrogen delivery? It seems like a lot of fuss over a little Helium-3. Good luck to Buxbaum, though, sounds like a solid gig!watermark remover ai

  6. Wow, He3! The moons new hot gas! Better start learning how to say Hydrogen real quick, Interlune. Hope they have a good separator – nobody wants to sell the US government mostly hydrogen with a hint of helium. Ten years of market rate sounds great, until the market rate plummets… or the moon runs out of helium! Good luck, folks. May your extractors be efficient, and may your hydrogen partners be rare!アイム ノット ヒューマン
