Mr. Hydrogen (TM) Purify tank or electrolysis hydrogen, ~99.5% pure H2, to 99.99999995% purity.

Complete hydrogen purification system for laboratory or light production. Price your all-in-one purifier as the sum of the heater/controller box price (right) plus the appropriate purifier cell (below). To order, specify 115-230V operation and whether you want an automatic safety shut off (additional $1750, as shown, right). All purifiers come with a removable, fixed bleed regulator. .

Purifier Modules

The guts of a great hydrogen purifier. Output is listed for operation at 400°C, 200 psi upstream, and delivery at 1 psig. For other temperatures and pressures, calculate the output using the flux chart or assume that flux is proportional to pressure difference. For extreme purities operate at 300 - 350 C

Comes standard with 1/4" VCR on the pure output, swagelok fittigs for the input connection and bleed.

Small Output, Band-Heated H2 Purifier Cells

• 0.5 slpm purifier module (shown at left): $3,800.
• 1.5 slpm: $4,800.
• 3 slpm: (shown below, lower): $6,500.
• 6 slpm: $9,000.


• For Mr Hydrogen control box with heater, etc. add $3400
• For safety shutoff add $1600.
• For Bleed regulator, heater, and K TC, without Mr. Hydrogen: $1750.
• For all VCR versions add $1850.

Larger Output H2 Purifier Cells
Coiled cells are cartridge-heated and have internal heat exchange:

• 10 slpm: $12,000
• 15 slpm: $16,000
• 25 slpm: $25,000
• 36 slpm: $35,000
• 50 slpm: $47,000
• 75 slpm: $68,000
• 100 slpm: $92,000
• 120 slpm: $110,000

*For all welded and/or VCR add $2500. 
*For short cabinet heat exchanger and control add $3500, used for 10 to 45 slpm.
*For safety shutoff with N2 flush, add $2000.
*For welded stainless heat exchanger, important for large flows: $2000.
*For tall control cabinet add $5000; this is needed for 50 slpm and above.

Pre-Programmed, stable controllers for convenient, cost-effective control of purifiers, reactors, or furnaces up to 1,200°C. Choose 120V, 220, or 240VAC, US or European plugs. Controlled power for all of your laboratory needs.
